About the adventure
Welcome to the town of Slya Fen, a sleepy mining town threatened by the shadow of a fell Necromancer. Though it is but a stop on your way to the capitol, it falls to you to save this town when no one else will, for your intended path would have brought you to the Necromancer's tower anyway. Victory will bring you a fabulous reward of gold and renown for being a Hero of the Realm... and even failure might not be as final as you think.

Creating your character
Characters will start between 4th and 7th level depending on the size of the party. We will create them in Session 0, and establish during Session 0 how they fit into the world and setting. In addition to class mechanics, we will be discussing backstories, motivations, and in-world connections that the characters may have.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A microphone will be required at the very least so that you can engage over Discord. I am happy to go over the rules and character creation process step by step for anyone who is a new player. A Discord account would also be helpful since I run all of my games over a Discord server.
What LadyDM brings to the table
This is a virtual game, so I will provide map illustrations where necessary but this will largely be theater of the mind. I do have a dice roller on my server.

How LadyDM creates a safe table
The first session is session 0. It's dedicated to character creation, setting discussion, and establishing and managing player expectations. This is where I will discuss triggers and safety mechanics, and I am always happy to address any concerns or questions my players have. I enjoy tailoring the adventure to fit my player group, that way everyone can have as much fun as possible. During each session, I will also be holding a 10-15 minute break about halfway through, and after the session is concluded I welcome any feedback you may have.
