[Thurs] PF2E Kingmaker, Tame the wilds Found your own nation.
Found a city, explore the untamed stolen land, build a nation.
About the adventure
Kingmaker is a classic level 1-20 Pathfinder Adventure Path that I'm stoked to see make the jump to PF2E! In this game you'll venture south to explore a wild and untamed land, eventually you will found a city within that land, and that city will grow into its own nation! This game offers a wide variety of content to keep any group busy through level 20 and even beyond if desired, it gives you dungeons crawls, hex crawls, personal and national intrigue, and an amazing kingdom building and management system, allowing you to have a wide range of diverse experiences within the campaign!

About me
Hey! I'm Dyer, I've been playing RPGs for over 30 years, my older brother started playing them with me before i hit double digits and I'm familiar with a wide variety of games. I am a progressive, non-adversarial GM that believes in player agency and table safety. I also absolutely love teaching people new games, and thought this would be a great way to do that.

Bas is really good about letting you bring your own twist to characters, while keep things fair and fun. He tells stories effectively and can bring existing adventure paths to new heights with his preparation and additional content. He is very good at bringing new players up to speed quickly, neither overwhelming them nor leaving them confused. I got really lucky that the first game I tried on this website turned out to be the exact sort of GM I was looking for.
A great GM for beginners and veterans alike, knows the rules well (PF2E) and isn't afraid to correct others in a kindly manner but also is very open to being corrected. I can %100 recommend Dyer as a gm in general but specifically for Pathfinder2e, Star-trek 2d20, and Fallout 2d20 they are fantastic.
Dyer is a great GM. He certainly knows his stuff, and is always willing to accommodate any kind of playstyle and crazy idea you may have. He's great at pacing and keeping everyone interested with his descriptions and not dwelling too long on scenes. My favorite phrase of his is "that's not how it supposed to work, but that's cool, so we're gonna do it"
Dyer is experienced with PF2e and VTT. Which is helpful for those who are inexperienced with either. I have been impressed with how open he is to walk through with me any ideas and/or concepts that I have. I have also been impressed with how he can fluidly switch between the more rules strict combat to more open role-playing elements. I highly recommend him.
Character creation
Creating your character
Coming into the game with an idea or a fully fleshed out character is fine, however if you are flexible, keeping that open during session 0 could be nice in order to better fill and compliment one another in the party! ✅ Starting Level 1 ✅ Variant Attribute Boosts: Allowed ✅ Ancestry: Most Allowed (Ask about Rares) ✅ Heritage: Most Allowed (Ask about Rares) ✅ Classes: All Allowed (Including Playtest classes (Exemplar/Animist)) ✅ Backgrounds: Most Allowed (Ask about Rares) 🔥 The Backgrounds in the Player's Guide are made to specifically help you in the campaign, so give them a look as you decide, but you don't NEED to choose from them if you prefer another. ❌ Optional Flaws: Not Allowed ✅ Optional Rules: Using Gradual Ability Boost. 🔥 Optional Rules: Modified Free Archetype: Grants Free Archetype feat slot at level 2, and every FOUR levels thereafter (instead of the normal 2) ✅ Alignment: All Allowed (I prefer non evil alignments; if you choose to do an evil alignment it will be on *you* to ensure your character plays well with the group, has a motivating reason to be involved.) 💯 Refer to the free Kingmaker Player's Guide for suggestions on a wide variety of character options that will see a lot of us in the campaign.
Level 9 with a Modified Free Archetype (A free feat slot levels 2,6, 10, 14, 18): - Goblin Sorcerer (Wellspring Mage) - Vanara Wizard (Rogue) - Nephilim Ysoki Summoner (Champion of Lamashtu) - Sarangay Druid (Cavalier) - Lizardfolk Exemplar (Rogue)
