About the adventure

This adventure goes from level one to level twelve. A simple adventure slowly becomes more twisted much like the town of Phandalin itself. What does it mean to be a hero? What really defines who or WHAT you are? Come watch your characters become local heroes of Phandalin, connect with the town, and then slowly uncover the mystery of the surrounding area. The game will start in the town of Phandalin where you will learn how to play the game. As you grow as players and your characters grow we will discover more and more about what lurks beneath the sleepy village. How do noble heroes when faced with cosmic horror? We will find out together as we go through the module. I'll try my hardest to incorporate your characters into the wider story in a meaningful way. Let's see what we can do to turn this familiar story into our own!

About me

I love Animanga especially JJK. I'm a Playstation, dude. A lot of my influence on world building comes from my favorite setting Eora, the setting of Pillars of Eternity. I was an English Lit in major. I am a Substitute Teacher and I hope to become a full time teacher soon.

Character creation

Creating your character

We will be starting at level one and I will help you make them on Roll20 if you need it. If you have a character concept before hand I am open to hearing you out if you're passionate, but I enjoy creating games with the whole party so that we can have an understanding of the setting/tone of the game.

The current party

Sessions for this adventure will be held on Tuesdays. I hope for starting times to be between 7 and 8 PM EST.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need a microphone and a discord account. This game is open to beginners so if you don't have a perfect understanding of the rules it's okay. All I ask is that you try to have an understanding of your character's abilities. You'll need a Roll20 account because that's the place I can make sure everything runs as smooth as possible.

What WellLookAtZat (Ben) brings to the table

I will provide everything through the Roll20. Anything not automatically provided at the beginning will be given to you as soon as possible.

Safety

How WellLookAtZat (Ben) creates a safe table

I will provide all safety materials I can before we even have a session zero. If I discover anything that I don't cover in the Session 0 during prep. I will be sure to let you know as soon as possible. During the session zero, I will go over how I run the game, homebrew rules, and answer any & all questions. I will also try to go over character creation as a group before we begin in earnest.
