About the adventure

Waterdeep truly is a wonderful place. A city full of opportunities and adventures at every corner. As new arrivals to the city what surprises will you discover? Tension between guilds? Kidnappings? A treasure beyond imagine? Todays story will allow you the opportunity to meet the Blackstaff! She is looking for adventurers to volunteer with a research study. Side effects include time travel, further learning of Waterdeeps history, artifact research, and perhaps a troll or two. Adventures in Waterdeep is a drop in campaign allowing for use of various materials. Sources include Adventures League Storylines, Waterdeep Dragon Heist, Dungeon of the Mad Mage, and much more. To hop in for this weeks session you need... A Level 2 Character set up using standard array. For detailed character creation we use adventures league set up, with the only sub condition being if you have a request to use special material please ask me first. A Roll20 account Discord If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me, and I look forward to seeing you at the virtual table!

About me

I started DMing about 4 years ago, and am now on the journey to make this a full time career. I recently started a twitch, and am working towards starting a streamed dnd campaign. Besides that I'm always looking to meet and work with new players. When I'm not dming or playing I'm catching up on anime, cuddling cats, and running into new chaotic ideas.

Character creation

Creating your character

What level will the characters be? Level 2 Players will need to create characters in advance, and instructions will be provided. In case of emergency I will also have spare characters. For Roll20 they will also need to provide me with an image of their character, so I can add it as a token.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

They will need access to Roll 20 and Discord. It is especially important to create characters ahead of time. In session mics will be required, while video will be optional. There is a way for them to put their character sheets into Roll20, but if they desire they can also use DnD beyond, and a program known as Beyond 20.

What Teres brings to the table

I will bring extra character sheets if needed. I will attempt to do some voices, and the adventure will have means for some flexibility. I will be running the game in my Vtuber persona, and am always looking for new tools to help make player experiences awesome.

How Teres creates a safe table

I will use X, N, and O in chat (I will probably talk about it as red, yellow, green), and there will also be a digital guide to it on the Roll 20. Break will be provided at about halfway through the adventure, and if needed by the group. Debriefing will happen at the end. Allowing for players to talk about the session, ask questions, and give feedback. Stars and Wishes will be at the very end, as an extra opportunity to provide feedback.
