About the adventure

In the world of Ylamir, science and sorcery are one and the same. Once unstable mage crystals have been harnessed into circuitry and machines to make magic accessible to everyone. Prestigious universities make leaps and bounds in crystal engineering, and each year produces more innovation than the last. The world is in a golden age of peace, prosperity, and progress. However, not all magic is so easily controlled. In the untamed wilderness, feral magic runs rampant, threatening society as we know it. As a knight of the Watcher's Abbey, it is your duty to locate these sources of feral magic, and stop them before they can cause cause havoc - or to clean up the mess if you're too late. *The Fairy and the Flame setting guide is a third party Thirsty Sword Lesbians supplement that will be provided to all players at no additional cost.

About me

Hey there! I'm a freelance game designer with over a decade of TTRPG experience under my belt as both a player and a GM. I got my start with Pathfinder 1E in 2012 and never looked back. Now I'm well-versed in several systems including Pathfinder 2E, Lancer, and Powered by the Apocalypse games. My passion is crafting character focused stories that give everyone a chance to shine.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will take place during session 0. Players should feel free to brainstorm character concepts on their own, but the actual creation should take place as a group to ensure there is no overlap of playbooks. Players may choose from any Core Rulebook or Advanced Lovers & Lesbians playbooks. Third Party/Powered by Lesbians playbooks are allowed and encouraged with prior discussion. Relationship questions will also be answered in session 0.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

This will be a voice game, so players must have a working microphone. Webcams are optional. Contact me privately in order to be added to a discord group chat. Preparation and gameplay will take place here.

Safety

How Michelle Jones creates a safe table

A Lines and Veils document will be provided to players prior to Session 0. During session 0, I will review the document along with players, do collaborative character creation, and answer any questions about the setting, game system, or campaign. X/N/O's can be used by either typing in chat or announcing them verbally. Players are encouraged to check in as needed, especially in moments of intense roleplay. There will be a short break at about the halfway point in each session. If additional breaks are required for any reason, they will be provided. There will be a minimum of 30 minutes set aside after each session for debriefing and aftercare. Players are not required to stay for this time, but it is encouraged.
