About the adventure
🍖 Dungeon of the Mad Mage: A Culinary Megadungeon Adventure 🍖 You're deep beneath Waterdeep. Supplies are running low. Something’s bubbling over the campfire, and it smells like cooked manticore. Welcome to Undermountain, the deadliest dungeon in Faerûn. It’s filled with monsters, magic, and madness. And you're going to eat all of it. This is Dungeon of the Mad Mage like you’ve never seen it before. Inspired by Delicious in Dungeon, this campaign turns the dungeon crawl into a survival cooking show from hell. Slay monsters, butcher them for magical ingredients, and cook powerful meals that might heal wounds, boost strength, or send your party into chaotic hallucinations. What you’ll experience: - A full megadungeon campaign with a creative twist - Crafting systems for harvesting monsters and cooking magical dishes - A balance of tactical combat, dungeon exploration, and food-driven strategy - Custom recipes, magical meals, and flavorful homebrew - A world that reacts to your culinary reputation as much as your blade You don’t need to be a food nerd to join. Just bring curiosity, humor, and an appetite for weird fantasy. All sessions are VTT-optimized with dynamic maps, tokens, and smooth online play. New and returning players are welcome. The dungeon is deadly. The meals are questionable. The only thing crazier than Halaster might be what you’re about to eat. About me
Hello adventurers, my name's Ted and it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance! I've been a Dungeon Master for D&D 5E for the past 5 years. I started my professional full-time DM career on November of 2021 and I've been having a blast! I am Greek born and raised, which gives me the edge when I talk for the NPCs, they all have a natural Eastern European accent! Joking aside, I love D&D and I enjoy playing every single session. I am very passionate about the game and all my players have had a great time. I DM for most of the official modules from Wizards of the Coast. I can also pick up other books if a group requests them, but will need some time to prepare. I hope you consider me to be your Dungeon Master on your next epic adventure!

Creating your character
Players will start from level 5 and progress to level 20 in the span of this campaign. Each player should have a general idea of what character they'd like to play and then we will make the concept a reality together. Characters will be created at Session 0. We will be following the new 2024 rules. Players are highly encouraged to pick a new subclass from the newest edition.
This campaign is one enormous Dungeon Crawl! It is filled with combat, factions, lore and tons of roleplay potential. If you are a fan of exploring, unearthing ancient secrets and figuring out what is in each of the 23 stages of Halaster's Dungeon, this is the adventure for you! Each level has it's own plot that doesn't tie in with the previous levels. A new character can hop in at any time and very easily partifipate with the story because of that. The players are level 12 (about to be 13). The party composition is Fighter, Wizard, Warlock, Rogue. The new player will create a level 12 character with Point Buy and a free feat at character creation. They are about to enter the 13th stage of the Dungeon.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All players need to have a working mic and a stable internet connection. Webcam is not necessary but always appreciated (it's nice to see the faces of the people you're talking to). Everyone should have a basic understanding of the rules, of course they will be assisted if they don't remember something. Roll20 as well as Discord account are necessary. Finally, players will need a Syrinscape Online account where I will be streaming music and ambience sounds from.
What Ted brings to the table
I have a Pro account on Roll20, as well as all core rulebooks that I can share with my players. I am very proficient with scripts and macros on Roll20 that speed up combat a ton. Music and ambience will be streamed from Syrinscape Online Player.

How Ted creates a safe table
On Session 0 we will discuss the rulings we will follow ), introduce ourselves, decide on the party composition and go over the way the campaign works. We will roll for stats, but everyone will use the array we roll. If the rolls are bad we will go with point-buy/standard array for all. We will use the "X, N and O" cards on Roll20. Players can expect a fast paced and rules light gaming experience. This specific campaign is highly comedic at times.
