About the adventure
THE GREATEST DUNGEON OF THEM ALL In the city of Waterdeep rests a tavern called the Yawning Portal, named after the gaping pit in its common room. At the bottom of this crumbling shaft is a labyrinthine dungeon shunned by all but the most daring adventurers. Known as Undermountain, this dungeon is the domain of the mad wizard Halaster Blackcloak. Long has the Mad Mage dwelt in these forlorn depths, seeding his lair with monsters, traps, and mysteries—to what end is a constant source of speculation and concern. Join us in D&D's largest dungeon ever! The campaign starts at level 5 and goes all the way to 20. Anyone interested in a long campaign is welcome!
This campaign is one enormous Dungeon Crawl! It is filled with combat, factions, lore and tons of roleplay potential. If you are a fan of exploring, unearthing ancient secrets and figuring out what is in each of the 23 stages of Halaster's Dungeon, this is the adventure for you! Each level has it's own plot that doesn't tie in with the previous levels. A new character can hop in at any time and very easily partifipate with the story because of that. The players are level 12 (about to be 13). The party composition is Fighter, Wizard, Warlock, Rogue. The new player will create a level 12 character with Point Buy and a free feat at character creation. They are about to enter the 13th stage of the Dungeon.

Additional details
How to prepare
All players need to have a working mic and a stable internet connection. Webcam is not necessary but always appreciated (it's nice to see the faces of the people you're talking to). Everyone should have a basic understanding of the rules, of course they will be assisted if they don't remember something. Roll20 as well as Discord account are necessary. Finally, players will need a Syrinscape Online account where I will be streaming music and ambience sounds from.
What I provide
I have a Pro account on Roll20, as well as all core rulebooks that I can share with my players. I am very proficient with scripts and macros on Roll20 that speed up combat a ton. Music and ambience will be streamed from Syrinscape Online since Discord music bots are not optimal.
Gameplay details
On Session 0 we will discuss the rulings we will follow (for example vote if we want flanking or not), introduce ourselves, decide on the party composition and go over the way the campaign works. We will roll for stats, but everyone will use the array we roll. If the rolls are bad we will go with point-buy/standard array for all. Players get a free feat at level 1. We will use the "X, N and O" cards as macro on Roll20. Players can expect a fast paced and rules light gaming experience.

How will character creation work
Players will start from level 5 and progress to level 20 in the span of this campaign. Each player should have a general idea of what character they'd like to play and then we will make the concept a reality together. Characters will be created at Session 0 or at a later time if someone is on a tight schedule. Every character will have a free feat from character creation! The Strixhaven book, the Lucky feat as well as the Hexblade multiclass are banned. Echo Knight Fighter and Chronurgy Wizard are banned as well. Counterspell will be discussed on Session 0.
