Tomb of Annihilation (1st Session is free! w/ Interactive Maps)
Dungeons & Dragons 5e | Campaign
About the adventure
Something evil is trapping the souls of the dead and draining life from all who have been raised from death by magic. This worldwide “death curse” not only prevents the raising of the dead but also causes creatures that were previously raised from the dead to wither and die. The source of this death curse lies in a trap-riddled tomb hidden beneath a lost city in the depths of a vast jungle. Tomb of Annihilation is a Dungeons & Dragons adventure that takes place on the peninsula of Chult in the Forgotten Realms. Chult is a tropical wilderness composed mostly of jungles, plateaus, impassable mountains, and belching volcanoes. You can substitute a different jungle setting, changing location names as needed. Alternative D&D settings include the Amedio Jungle of Oerth, the Savage Coast of Mystara, the jungles of Xen’drik on Eberron, or a comparable setting on your home campaign world. *It will be a grueling long campaign so I hope you are ready for the ride! *I throw a lot of homebrew options in my game but ultimately the game is made for you as the player. I have no set system. If that is how everyone wants the play, that's how we will play it. *I allow homebrew characters just as long as they are not ruining everyone's experience. Any questions, please ask!! My playstyle: I like to be able to immerse your ideas of a character and bring them to life in my campaign. When you join, we will thoroughly go through your background and really dive in deep on who your character is, how he/she/them acts, and what is their drive in the game. As a DM, I love watching all these different personalities unfold and mingle within the party. I also try and create side quests for everyone to create an extra personal touch in the game play! Overall, this game is about you and for you to have fun, I am just here to facilitate.
We are currently level 4 and have a Monk, Wizard, Paladin, and a Druid

Proficiencies
Players say this GM is great at:
Creativity
Knows the Rules
Voices
Ice is a great GM, he works with each player to ensure they get to play the type of character who they envision. He also goes out of the way to ensure that the effects in VTT are what you want to see. In StartPlaying community, Ice should be synonymous with "above and beyond."

How to prepare
Players are required to have a mic. and webcams are totally optional. I encourage players to have some sort of idea of what character they would like to be before session 0 but I can help with that along the way. Lastly, I encourage players to not be shy and just have fun!
What I provide
I have all the source books so you can pull characters from anywhere. I will bring animated maps and characters on Foundry with some really cool animations. I am not the best voice actor but I will try! I also like to bring humor into our games for some comedic relief. If you do not find me funny, you can laugh at my corny jokes or the fact that I am trying to be funny!
Gameplay details
We will go over all the lines and veils during session 0 or when you first join the campaign. It can be with the group or in a private setting.
