About the adventure
Hello all! Welcome to Curse of Strahd. A story full of horror, madness, and vampires. Your character's wills and sanities will be put to the test. Will you stop the evil that haunts Barovia or will you succumb like all that have come before you? This campaign is strongly rooted in gothic horror. This can include things like death and decay, haunted homes/castles, family curses, potential (but tame) body horror, madness, ghosts, vampires, etc... If this sounds interesting rather than disturbing, then this campaign is for you! This will be my second time running Curse of Strahd so I've had a chance to adjust various things from the book to make it more of my own.

About me
Hello all! I'm an extremely flexible DM that loves to watch your characters come to life. My greatest strengths as a DM are: - Improvisation and being quick on my feet allowing you and your party to explore the world and approach challenges as you see fit. - Homebrewing content that takes your unique characters and their backstories into consideration - Incentivizing character and party RP. Creating your character
Characters start off at Level 1 and can be initially created wherever they would like. They can then be imported / recreated inside of Foundry VTT using the wonderful Plutonium importer.

Foundry VTT will have everything you need to play DnD. Character Sheets and all the dice you need. I will be creating any necessary maps / associated art.

How Flaming Creature creates a safe table
All my games are supposed to be a safe place where players can come to relax, express themselves, and partake on a fun (but maybe challenging) adventure. Before we hop into game we will all be in a call to make sure everyone feels comfortable with the adventure. If there are specific triggers, the world will be adjusted accordingly. I love helping new people get into DnD as well as playing with people who have been in the ttrpg world for years. My only request is that the two groups work together. Also during session 0 we will gauge what the party as a whole is interested in. Do we want to focus on combat? RP? Dungeons and puzzles? I'm prepared to adjust the entire campaign accordingly.
