About the adventure
The Underdark is a subterranean wonderland, a vast and twisted labyrinth where fear reigns. It is here that the dark elf Gromph Baenre, Archmage of Menzoberranzan, casts a foul spell meant to ignite a magical energy that suffuses the Underdark, and he tears open portals to the demonic Abyss in the process. What steps through surprises even him, and from that moment on, the insanity that pervades the Underdark escalates and threatens to shake the Forgotten Realms to its foundations. Stop the madness before it consumes you! This is a level 1-15 campaign using the world's greatest roleplaying game. Player characters will face off against demonic creatures, mind flayers, and other nightmarish foes as you navigate the abyssal realm where madness reigns and unspeakable horrors await!

Creating your character
First, you'll want to join our discord channel here! https://discord.gg/ATqXs877n2 Once you're there, please take a minute to view our rules, (including those listed specifically for this adventure) and the safety tools we'll be using. There will be a D&D Beyond campaign created for this campaign. You may customize your character using any of the races/classes from the Player's Handbook, Tasha's, Xanathar's, and Monsters of the Multiverse. I'll also help you to integrate D&D Beyond with Discord so that all your rolls transfer right over! All characters will start at level 1 unless we've already started the adventure, in which case you can create a character at whatever level the party is currently at! If you are unsure which character to play, let me know and I will help you choose a race/class combination that will fit the character you want to play!
24/7 asynchronous play by post game! I will check in 2-3 times a day to move things forward at a steady pace. This game has an established party, currently Level 5.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Player's will need a D&D Beyond account, a Discord account, and a Forge account. (All free!) Characters will be created in D&D Beyond, roleplaying and dice rolls will be done on Discord, and maps will be hosted in Foundry on the Forge server.

How crawford creates a safe table
This is an official Wizards of the Coast adventure intended to take players from 1st level all the way to 15th. Difficultly will gradually increase as we progress through the adventure together. This Play-by-Post adventure takes place entirely on Discord using the Avrae bot. This will connect to your character in D&D Beyond to perform rolls and other game actions. I will check in multiple times a day and keep the game moving! You will have 24-hour access to the play by post channels and can post any time! This way you can play from your phone, on the go, and on your schedule! Finally! A way to play every day!
