Dungeons & Dragons 5e | Kobold Chronicles: Blood Vaults of Sister Alkava | 7th Level One-Shot

About the adventure

Welcome to Kobold Chronicles! This is a 3-4 hour virtual session of the 7th Level one-shot adventure 'Blood Vaults of Sister Alkava' from Kobold Press. Pre-generated Character Sheets will be provided. So you only need to bring your awesome self! We will start the one-shot by picking characters. Then move into a mini-session zero and safety tools. After that, we'll hurry to the village of Karvolia. The call for adventurers said Sister Alkava has asked for a second round of blood donors for the Red Goddess. Yet, the first round has not returned. Something is not right. Have donors become sacrifices? At the end of the session, we'll debrief and look forward to the next adventure! As a Dungeon Master, I enjoy the online gaming format. You'll find games with me a great chance to build memorable characters and roleplay. There will be plenty of battle and action, yet I won't shy away from every corner you want to explore. I'll help draw out the epic hero in your character and give you a great gaming experience.

How to prepare

We will be able to roll dice in Roll20 but if you prefer to use physical dice that is welcome. Be sure to test out your webcam and mic before the session.

I'll have battle maps, handouts, and a great adventure planned out for everyone. Looking forward to our game!

Gameplay details

Players can expect time to gather clues from townsfolk and dungeon exploration that will assist them in overcoming the evil in combat at the end. This one-shot has a significant amount of combat. You will be provided a link to join a Roll20 room and the Kobold Press discord server. We will have a discord channel to muster and share information before the session. We'll use discord for voice/video. Video is not required. We will go over the pre-generated characters during the beginning of the game session. Anonymous safety cards (X, N, O) are digital and provided with descriptions in Roll20.

How will character creation work

I will provide pre-generated characters. If you join the discord channel or Roll20 early, you will be able to review the character sheets. We will pick characters at the beginning of the session. If 2 players would like the same pre-generated character we will roll a D20 to resolve.
