Creating your character
Make a level 1 character on DnDBeyond and provide me with the link to their sheet so I can import it to Foundry. Any official 5e material is accepted except Variant Human. 1 free feat at level 1. Standard Array for ability scores (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8) or Point Buy. Average HP at each level or you can roll. Multi-classing is allowed. Pre-generated character are also available if you're joining in last-minute.
The game will run with a minimum of 3 players. it is a short adventure that will teach the basics and take players to level 5.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
1) Join my discord here: https://discord.gg/QZSzWuhUp5 2) Once you're on discord, send me a paragraph or two regarding your PC idea. In your backstory, give me two living NPCs with names that you have a relationship to. Notable locations to tie your PC or NPCs to include: 1) the small mining town of Phandelver and 2) the large nearby city of Neverwinter, City of Skilled Hands. 3) Create your PC sheet here - instructions included: https://ddb.ac/campaigns/join/37826902756911472 4) Join on Forge-Foundry here: https://forge-vtt.com/invite/dm-cucub/2c86ce89-01c8-41c7-9be2-5a61c2e7d4bd 5) Schedule a 5 to 10 minute interview to make sure the game is a good fit for you. Players will require a decent and reliable mic. Players will also need to make a Forge-Foundry VTT account for visuals and Discord account for voice.
