About the adventure
Visit the Abyss. Meet Demon Lords. Be a Hero. In the heart of the Demonweb, Lolth surveyed the Grand Council Chamber and the demon lords assembled by her invitation. Throaty growls indicated a dispute amond Yeenoghu's pack. Obox-ob's insect swarms chittered while Demogorgon ranted from the central podium. The other emissaries seemed restless. Across the hall, Graz'zt met Lolth's gaze and smiled. The demon queen shivered with a tingle of foreboding This Dungeons & Dragons adventure takes characters from the planar city of Sigil to the darkest corners of the Outer Planes, gathering resources to battle the forces of Lolth, Demon Queen of Spiders. The player characters must navigate a carefully spun web of treachery and deceit to reach the violent heart of Lolth's domain and put an end to her sinister dreams of conquest. It has been updated to 5th Edition D&D, and is ready for 20th level adventurers to earn their place in glory by saving those they hold dear and defeating the plans of the Spider Queen.

About me
Hail and Well Met Gamers! Some call me... Jeremy Jordan. I am an old gamer, game designer, RPG enthusiast, and have always held the belief that a game should be fun. I have worked on a lot of projects over the years, mostly D&D related. I was a Delegate for Wizards of the Coast, in addition to one of their convention staff. I helped launch 4th and 5th edition D&D, and have been playing since 1st edition. Recently I helped design and launch The Land Roleplaying System, based off of the best selling Chaos Seeds novels by Dr. Aleron Kong. In 2022 I moved 1000 miles from my player base to Florida, and am looking to once again run games for anyone willing to share a story with me. I'm happy to run D&D 3.5/4/5 for any group, and am currently setting up campaign terms for The Land Roleplaying System. I have an established Roll20 account with decent macros- please contact me if you would like to set up a gaming session. I tend to be corny - and I'm more about having fun with players than beating someone up over a ruling - and I will do my best to ensure we all have a good time.

Creating your character
I have an extensive library on D&D Beyond that I will share with you if you need books. You will create your character in D&D Beyond or Roll20, using either "Standard Array" or "Point Buy" system, with "Fixed" Hit Points. If you need a pre-made character, we can handle that as well. You will then use the "Beyond20" Chrome Extension to play - we can explain all details in our discord server if you are new to it.
You should create an 20th level character for this adventure, and contact DM Jeremy for details on starting equipment. This campaign takes place in the Abyss, and is a modification of a classic 3rd Edition adventure. You can make your character on D&D Beyond or using the Roll20 Charactermancer (which is embedded). We have a high number of scripts and macros to speed up play, but our game is an introductory game to D&D if necessary - we will help you along if needed. Our core value is fun, so we do what we can to ensure everyone has it. Please join our discord if you have any questions - https://discord.gg/pcznc29wNu

How Jeremy Jordan creates a safe table
I use several API's (program scripts) to speed up combat and make it easier to understand for newer players. I'm not very rules heavy if it slows down the game, but I will advise players that don't know how to play, or players that are unsure of what they should do if things slow down. As I have over 30 years of DM experience, I have a lot of improv techniques to keep things going, but I always advise players to look past their character sheet and imagine what they would do in that situation.
