About the adventure

The campaign is set so multiple groups can play in the world simultaneously with different arcs and events affecting world events. The world that has been created for the players encompasses all core races and classes with most outer-lying races being included. Coming into the world there are 4 unique events that happen on a weekly basis, this campaign is geared around those events and unraveling the mystery behind them and the effects of those events on the world at large. The events follow that of dragons and weather phenomena. Chaos creeps and creates legends, and myths, typically heard as tall tales of fantasy. Where there is a legend there is some truth however, most of this comes from a small group that seems to walk the land and often attacks slower travelers and at times attempts to besiege settlements. Usually, this is easily repelled by a guard or two, at times even traveling merchants. Typically Inns or Taverns will reward anyone who dispatches a member of chaos, making it an easy opportunity to earn some extra coin for even the most novice of an adventurer. The biggest cause for caution is that of the disease that seems to always spread while Chaos is roaming the land however simple medicines are prevalent in most regions are common, and shops typically always have something set aside for it. Among the events in the world, there is an Enlightenment-like mist that envelops whole regions of the land that happens monthly and little is thought about it, as an adventure, it is the claim towards growth and personal development as the average person it may be as simple as a sudden realization of where you left your spare key. As a creature, it might be some general insight into the change in the season. Some seek it for power while others are content with the premonitions over the day-to-day events. The enlightenment has been known to drive a creature wild or a would-be adventure to being a hermit or worse out of fear, to drive them to behave strangely. Players can expect several other unique world features and larger-than-life mysteries that they can adventure through and explore to uncover the inner workings of the world to learn why things are the way they are to what drives the world.
