About the adventure

Here and there in the wilds of the Verduran Forest, a seemingly normal plant suddenly reveals themself as a leshy, a curious little human-shaped plant crafted by a druid as a companion or minion. Sometimes, leshys outlive their druid creators, while many others are set free to live their own lives. Most of those who live in the Verduran Forest today have stories along these lines, yet recently the forest’s clusters of leshys have seemed thinner and fewer. You are but four of these stories. It’s hardly unusual for the leshys of Verduran to come and go as they please, but this morning it has become impossible to ignore the fact that your numbers have dwindled significantly. Many of those who remain grow fearful, and as the larger and more powerful leshys in the area, it’s your duty to protect the smaller spirits. It’s time to admit something is wrong. It’s time to investigate. ---------- "Fistful of Flowers" is a short, one shot adventure where all of the party members are leafy, flowery, and absolutely adorable level 3 leshies! Born when a spark of sapience and life enters a plant, leshies are usually looked down upon as typically fickle, capricious creatures, little better than fey. But now? It's time to show the world just how heroic leshies can be, and that they're more than capable enough to take on the same sort of adventures that the more fleshy ancestries do! While "Flowers" is a one shot, and while it's completely possible to go through the entire adventure in a single three to four hour session, there's always the possibility of us having loads of fun and maybe taking one more three to four hour session to finish the whole thing! I'm a big fan of letting the players set the pace, so please feel free to roleplay and immerse yourself in the adventure as much as you'd like! While "Flowers" comes along with four cute little premade leshies for you to play, please feel free to make your own small plant friends if you'd like! To make our leshies a little more heroic for the grand adventure they are about to embark upon, this optional character creation will include the Ancestry Paragon variant rule, the Gradual Ability Boost variant rule, and the Free Archetype variant rule. With everyone only at level 3, though, and with premade characters available, it's still relatively simple and good for those who might still be a bit inexperienced in the system!
