Creating your character
Character creation will take place before the session. Players are invited to create a free dndbeyond account to make their characters, but fillable PDF character sheets will also be available via a shared folder. For players who are uncomfortable jumping into character creation on their own, I will have premade characters available for them to choose from. We will go over characters at the beginning of the session, and we can address any issues.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a device capable of joining the game session via Zoom or Discord. Players should have the ability to access PDFs if that is how they wish to receive character sheets. I will provide access to a personalized Google Drive folder containing everything you’ll need (links, dates, PDFs) before and during the session. A mic will be required to participate, but no one will be required to turn their webcam on unless they want to. I will have my camera on, along with backgrounds and visuals that change periodically on my camera feed. Players are welcome to use physical dice if they want, but any digital dice roller will also work.

I will make sure character sheets (both blank and premade characters) are available. Maps and custom tokens will be accessible through Owlbear Rodeo. This is a free Virtual Tabletop that only needs an internet browser to access. No account is needed. I will also provide any story-related visuals, handouts, and a gaming experience you'll love.
