About the adventure

Paranormal adventure abounds when an ancient curse at long last lifts from the River Kingdom of Sevenarches. The heroes trek into the ancient forest realm in search of answers, but first they find violent druids, wicked fey hunters, and paranoid townsfolk. Behind it all is an enigmatic bogeyman who pulls the strings from a coterminous plane of spindly shadows. Can the characters unravel the schemes of Kaneepo the Slim? How does the fatal obnubilate curse relate to their missing memories? And what awaits them on the other side of the Seventh Arch? There's just one way to find out!

About me

I've been playing and running tabletops, mostly Pathfinder 1e/2e for quite some time, and I'd like to start bringing stories to people on a more broad scale. I enjoy telling heroic stories with my players, and working together to create some memorable experiences.

Character creation

Creating your character

-Characters will begin the campaign at level 1 -Character sheets will be built into Foundry VTT during session 0 (players with character ideas prepared ahead of time are welcome to bring them to session 0) - Players will have the opportunity to collaborate on character creation, to ensure that everyone is comfortable with the table's concepts, and that everyone will be able to have individual opportunities to succeed, in addition to the group as a whole

The current party

Weekly Budget-Friendly No Pathfinder 2e experience required! Note: This Adventure Path is now well underway (about 80% complete as of 2 November). It will likely conclude before the end of 2023. Please take this into consideration if you're considering joining up!

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players will need a working microphone, a stable internet connection Players will need to sign up for a free account on The Forge at: https://forge-vtt.com/account/signup No prior rules knowledge is required

What AlphaHero brings to the table

I will provide access to a Foundry VTT server containing the Adventure Path we'll be using to tell our story. The server allows for storage of player materials, ensuring no one loses their character sheet! Dice will be rolled here as well, and players will be together in voice chat for RP purposes.

Safety

How AlphaHero creates a safe table

Before officially starting the campaign, the group will come together for Session 0, where we'll discuss what characters everyone involved would prefer to play, along with any concerns regarding content and trigger warnings. The players and GM will create a verbal contract together regarding each players level of comfort with possible game content, and draw some clear lines as to what behaviors and content are welcome at our (virtual) table. During games, I will keep an open line of communication open to all players, which I will endeavor to monitor continuously, which they can use to communicate any concerns or triggers with me in real-time. If, at any time, a player feels the need to take a break from the game in order to preserve their own safety or well-being, they can do so without questions or judgement. I prefer to spend the last 15-30 minutes of each session checking in with players, ensuring that everyone is having a good time, taking feedback, allowing everyone to decompress, especially in cases where a game ends during a high-intensity session.
