The players must navigate through this treacherous world, facing off many creatures that lunge for your neck, as you seek to find and explore Barovia which falls unknown to the outside of world. With rich lore, thrilling encounters, and challenging puzzles, this campaign promises an unforgettable adventure for players of all levels. Warning! This is a gruesome campaign that has mature and dark themes for example: child abuse and neglect, emotional and physical abuse, murder and attempted murder, kidnapping, stalking, assault, gaslighting, abuse of power, racism, xenophobia, cruelty, torture, references to genocide, mutilation, mind control, the desecration of the dead and places of worship, cannibalism, mercy killing, parental death, child death, mental illness, starvation, cruelty to animals, prolonged and painful deaths, body horror, insects and infestation horror, decay, betrayal, consumption of alcohol and drugs, involuntary homicide, graphic depictions of death and violence, necrophilia, self-harm, suicide, and potentially other mature themes. About me
I've been DMing for the past 6 years, I've mainly worked with D&D 5e, but I've homebrewed everything throughout the years and creating my own stories to create my world has been an extravagant experience. Recently however Curse of Strahd and other written adventures have taken my interest, as well as other systems such as AD&D2e, Daggerheart, Shadowdark, and Delta Green have taken my interest and I've DM'd a few of them I've used roll20, MapTools, and now mainly Foundry for my games to give the online experience a better feel of accessibility and vision. However, I do enjoy employing more traditional theatre of mind elements into my game as to me it engages my players to ponder questions and thoughts on how to affect the environment. I enjoy teaching new players very much as it makes me feel as though I'm truly giving back to the community and the idea that I'm able to get that spark of awe out of people who've never played is the best feeling ever. I try to invoke experiences upon my players of a whole arrangement of emotions, I truly wish to bring an exhilarating fun to all however, I seriously take people's recommendations, I write a document over each character, taking notes on your backstory, personality throughout game, key actions created, and I try to vigorously consider/integrate this throughout the game to create the most surreal of games possible for my players.

Creating your character
Characters will be lvl 1, I'm a readily available resource to help you through your character creation, I usually recommend putting it through D&D beyond or a fillable PDF, but really all I need is all your decisions and a piece of art, to put it into foundry.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need Discord, a mic, and before game to have sent me your character creation decisions and art, I will send you a website link to the Foundry game, it doesn't work well on phones, so a computer will be needed if you wish to have the full experience, and finally bring your best self and be kind to others!
What Boetech brings to the table
I will bring an adventure that has detailed maps, realistic lighting, intuitive macros and combat accessibility. Also, I enjoy doing voices for NPC's and challenging my players with NPC dialogue. I also love integrating player backstories into the game that makes it unique and fun for everyone.
Homebrew rules
Everyone will start with an additional General Feat at lvl 1, I also incorporate some additional optional GM rules like Fear/Horror Checks.

How Boetech creates a safe table
This campaign contains heavy material, I will discuss with everyone about what can be contained in this campaign and how everyone will need to accept each others boundaries , if you ever feel uncomfortable midgame or change your mind on something, please tell me, I will try my best to make no one feel pressure to go through something they feel uncomfortable with. At the end of the day, I wish to make a fun and vivid experience for all my players, the last thing I want is someone not having fun. It's a game at the end of the day :)
