About me

I'm an experienced dungeon master who loves tweaking modules and writing homebrew content. I'm always willing to prioritize the Rule of Cool and telling a fun story over the rules as written. Join my Discord server to see more details about the games I write and run. Let's roll some dice!

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters begin anywhere between first and fourth level but typically fourth. They will be created during Session Zero so that I can cover backstory and how the characters fit in the context of the story. If you have played previous oneshots with me, I do allow the reuse of characters that I helped prepare.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

The Player's Handbook for D&D Fifth Edition would be helpful in either pdf or tangible form. Also a copy of a blank character sheet. You will need a mic to participate on Discord, as well as a Discord account. Camera is optional, and I usually do not use one for myself.

What LadyDM brings to the table

I have a dice roller on my discord server we will be using for character creation and all necessary rolls. I will upload any relevant images or maps onto the server as well, but this game will largely be Theater of the Mind, meaning most settings and things you encounter will be entirely based on verbal description.

Safety

How LadyDM creates a safe table

Session Zero will cover character creation and overall campaign expectations. Also, in the beginning of each session, I will remind players of any content warnings that are relevant to what we are covering. I am also available before and after each session to address any lingering concerns.
