About the adventure
Enter The Land RPG! Play your favorite new 1st level character for LitRPG play. Your character enters The Land in the Red Venom Plains. This adventure introduces that setting. Other GMs also run this setting and characters are transferable. See http://www.thelandrpg.com/ for details. Characters will have no specific memories of their previous life. They will have emotions tied to those memories though. So a brother and sister might feel kinship for each other, and look like siblings, but will have no memories of their lives together. Similarly, characters won't remember their background stories, or how they acquired their gear or skills. They may have one trinket from their past lives, but they will not remember its significance - just how they feel about it.

Creating your character
Create your character in advance as a new starting PC. Use 5th edition standard 1st level PC creation rules. You track your own character any way you like. This GM suggests that DnD Beyond works really well: please create a blank PC in Roll20 then link your DnD Beyond character sheet. You may also create your PC in Roll20. Whatever you prefer. You may roll your own physical dice in person and tell us what you roll, or you may roll digital dice in game. Characters will meet for the first time when they wake up in The Red Venom Plains. Each PC will have basic starting gear and one trinket from a former life.
This is a 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons Multi-GM shared Campaign Setting. Based on LitRPG "The Land" Chaos Seed series. Players start at level 1 using Core Rules. Once you have joined our game we will send you a link to our D&D Beyond campaign so you can use all our expanded class options.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Bring a first level character ready to play. We will use some of the suggestions and rules at http://www.thelandrpg.com/ , which your GM is still learning. Have a [free] Roll20 account and a [free] Discord account. You will need a Microphone but not a Camera. One effective approach is to use a phone to listen and speak in Discord and a Computer for Roll20. Whatever works for you. Please set your Discord audio to Push-to-talk. Please give your full concentration to the game. Try to have a quiet background when you speak.
