About me

I love TTRPGs and the idea of supporting myself via that love would be a dream come true. As a game-runner I have learned how to adapt and customize my games, as well as create connections and plot lines for my players. From one-shots to ongoing campaigns, I'm looking forward to being able to run great games for the people of the internet.

Character creation

Creating your character

◆ Characters will be created during a Session 0. However, if a player wants to create their character ahead of time that's fine, as long as you discuss it with me. ◆ Characters will be starting at Level 1. ◆ Characters will use Point-Buy or Standard Array (no rolled stats). ◆ Characters can be created using whatever manner you prefer -- digitally/D&D Beyond, PDF character sheet, or with pen & paper. ◆ Classes, Subclasses, and Races from any published Wizards of the Coast material is allowed. In addition, the Bloodhunter Class, and content from Critical Role's Tal'dorei, are allowed. ◆ Pregenerated characters will be provided for all base classes plus Bloodhunter, should you wish to opt for them.

The current party

Campaign currently at level 8. Please make sure to read content warnings, and please try to join no later than 24 hours ahead of game time.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

◆ You will need a working microphone, and the ability to listen in on the game. ◆ Webcams are allowed, but not required. ◆ This game will be held on my Discord. While the game will be held on Tabletop Simulator, I will be streaming it. You do not need to own the program. ◆ You will need a Discord account. They are free: https://discord.com/ ◆ Reading up on the setting isn't necessary, as everything will be covered in Session 0.

What Bernard brings to the table

-A hard copy of Explorer's Guide to Wildemount as well as both editions of the Tal'Dorei setting guide (also set in Critical Role's world of Exandria). -Vivid descriptions of the world, characters, creatures, actions, and events. -Voices for different NPCs to give you a good sense of who you're speaking with. -Individual connections for player characters to the world and the adventure.

Safety

How Bernard creates a safe table

Each player fills out a Consent Checklist form which I will keep a copy of to reference. Additionally, we can further discuss the game's content in Session 0. I can be messaged about any issues both in and out of game, and you are also free to bring up any issue vocally. Additionally, I check with everyone if there is anything that needs to be discussed at the beginning and end of each session.
