About the adventure
⚔️Fight a gauntlet of enemies! 📝Play your optimized characters! 🎲Experience procedurally generated combats and rewards! 💪Level up at a rapid rate! I have developed a Roguelite adventure for D&D 5e based heavily on existing video games such as Hades and Slay the Spire. Fight through several floors of increasing difficulty, with a short rest and shop every few floors. You long rest and level up when you die or defeat a boss, making death only a setback. Whenever you die, you return to the floor after your last completed boss fight, with all of your XP, Gold, and Essentia (a custom currency) retained. Spend Essentia and Gold to strengthen yourself and your gear, level up for your powerful class features, and eventually push deep into the ever-changing dungeon! A D&D Beyond campaign with all character options is provided. A free Forge-VTT account and D&D Beyond account are required to play.

About me
Hey, I'm Frankln! I've been playing D&D for a few years now, and I DM a bit on the side. I like to DM oneshots, and I have experience playing (although not DMing) a variety of systems. I tend to DM 5e games.

Creating your character
You will be expected to create characters before the session, and have all of their leveling up choices (such as subclass and spell selection) already planned out up to three levels in advance, which I can help walk you through ahead of time if you're new to the system. All official published material is allowed.
We'll meet every Sunday at 6 PM EST!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll need a mic, and to have at least a vague plan of your character's next few levels for each session, as levels come rapidly. A Forge-vtt account is also required, to connect to the game.
What Franklin Bunting brings to the table
Maps will be on Foundry, and the game will be hosted by Forge-vtt, with access at all times. I can help with creating characters. I also have the D&D Beyond Sourcebook bundle, so any player sheets can (and should) be made in D&D Beyond.

How Franklin Bunting creates a safe table
Each "floor", or room, is going to be a 40ftx40ft room with potential obstacles and filled with enemies. After each room, you get a reward, and get to choose the next room's reward. You push through room after room with the occasional rest, fighting enemies and bosses, until you make it to the very end or die trying. Death is only a temporary setback, however. In between runs, you can spend accumulated Gold and Essentia to grow stronger, buffing your stats and crafting, buying, or upgrading your gear.
