About the adventure
Modified version of Curse of Strahd. Lady S von Zarovich is always looking for new playthings to populate her inescapable* gothic land of Barovia and perhaps help reunite her with her long lost love, Tatyana. Surely, that will lift the centuries long curse of undeath and suffering plaguing the valley and it's ruler. *Terms and conditions apply. This is a CoS game homebrewed into a more queer/less racist campaign. However, it is still a gothic horror themed campaign, and while there is always room for negotiation, it still features adult themes and spooky amounts of graphic violence. We can start at different levels and different points of the adventure, depending on how many sessions the party wants to play and how experienced you are. Newbies are welcome! My games are roleplay heavy, and we might not have combat every single session. While I encourage not taking ourselves too seriously and cracking jokes, general d&d rules and table etiquette are still enforced. I love to incorporate backstories into the plot, and will work with you on character creation before we begin!

About me
I'm an artist and DM living in Austin, TX with my wife and fur babies. I have over 10 years experience running D&D (3.5 and 5e) and Vampire/World of Darkness (OG and 5e). My games are inclusive for POC, queer, and disabled people. I love story heavy and character driven games!

Creating your character
We will discuss level options as a group, and create characters together as a session 0. We can use Roll20 or D&D Beyond for that. The method can be standard array or point buy.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will have Session 0 as a group on Discord, and after that, sessions are though Discord call and Roll20. I prefer to have video for everyone for roleplay purposes, but it's not a hard rule. Mic is required.
What Cassa brings to the table
Our games are online, so we will have maps/dice/etc on Roll20.

How Cassa creates a safe table
We will discuss the main themes of the campaign in session 0. I will also give general warnings of potential trigger subjects ahead of time. I will work with lines and veils for each player who wishes. Anyone can message me during the session, openly or privately, for immediate Xs/hard nos.
