About the adventure
A 4-hour adventure playable by 5e D&D Adventurers League Forgotten Realms characters levels 5-7. The renowned adventuring company Acquisitions Inc. hires you to infiltrate a castlebut not just any castle. This is a flying fortress built by the cloud giant Count Stratovan, who is currently preparing to destroy the Sword Coast. Your mission is to meet with his son, who claims to want to prevent the war and establish peace between the giants and the small folk. If you can learn whether the son can be trusted, discover the secrets of the castle, and... well, survive, you too can earn acclaim with Acquisitions Inc.! This is a D&D AL adventure. New to AL? Creating your character
You are expected to bring a new 5th level character following the rules in the AL Player's Guide. Characters will not be created during the session. Characters can be created on Roll20, D&D Beyond, pen & paper, or whatever you're most comfortable with. Characters must be created using the D&D Adventurers League Forgotten Realms character creation rules, found here: https://media.wizards.com/2021/dnd/downloads/DDAL_PlayersGuidev11_0.pdf If you have an existing AL FR character between 5th and 7th level, you may bring them instead of creating a new 5th level character. If this is the case, please send me a link to your character's logs! :)
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will be using Roll20 for our virtual tabletop and Discord for audio. Mics are required, and webcams will not be used. If this is your first time using Roll20, I am happy to help new folks learn the platform! Some level of 5e fluency is assumed, but if you're new to 5e D&D, let me know ahead of time and I'm happy to get you prepared. Blank sheets will be available in the room for folks using DDB with Beyond20.
