About the adventure

What is a oneshot? One time dungeon to get your DnD fix without having to commit to months of a drawn out campaign. This is the spirit of DnD and the core of what makes the game fun; you can drop into a quick dungeon to test out a build and just enjoy a fun night with everyone and meet new people! Hook: The Wizard's tower brewing Co. - a craft brewery known for its hoppy summer ales - is in dire need of help from a band of reliable, affordable adventurers. The owner has posted a job on the local notice boards and is calling in favors from friendly innkeepers all over town to spread the word. This is a great entry level game for new players as it touches all pillars of play and facilitates an easy going environment.

About me

Roll20 profile link as proof of time and games: https://app.roll20.net/users/1714042/jasen Discord: Jasen#5048 Yes, I take requests for custom games; we will need to discuss everything over voice about the logistics. In the effort to be transparent custom games will likely cost more than prepared games (but not always, if I already have the content prepared it will be at regular cost). Hello, I'm a 33 year old Italian/jewish nerd from rural Nevada! I have been running games on Roll20 for years now and just branching out into this newer site; my focus/specialty is fun "combat as a story" gameplay. I also am open to last minute one-shots (I have more than a few prepared in varying levels ranges. One-shots in my opinion are the epitome of DND and really most modules and story are just a series of One-shots.

Character creation

Creating your character

Starting with a level 1 character-Choose a form of stat generation between 4 sets (using this link for point buy http://chicken-dinner.com/5e/5e-point-buy.html ): 1. 30 Point Buy (27 is regular but you are heroes!) 15MAX/8MIN before racials (this is a safe way to customize your set of points) 2. Standard Array 15,14,13,12,10,8 3. Feat Array 15,14,12,10,10,8, plus your choice of a feat (excluding human variant) 4. 4d6 drop the lowest die (leaving you with 3/4 of the highest die for a higher possibility of an 18) -Max HP at level 1 then every level after Average HP(Half hit die+1+CONSTITUTION MODIFIER)

The current party

Just looking to build up my reputation with this site; this is a free game with me only asking for reviews! Learn to play or just have a fun level 1 romp

What to expect

Preparing for the session

I (the DM) will be using a webcam and mic; I only require a mic from my players. Roll20 is where we will be playing and would like all players to roll in chat for everyone to see. All questions being asked before the session starts is important as we will not be having a "session 0." I also would like all character sheets to be filled out before the start time as to not make other players wait. DND beyond is ok to use with roll20 but I would prefer roll20 for everything to cut down on cheating (this game will be medium difficulty and I do not see the need for min/maxing although it is allowed at the table).

What Fungeon Master brings to the table

I have many books, modules, tokens, art packs, etc bought from the Roll20 store; the assets I use in my games are not stolen and I run a very high quality/polished game (with roll20 pro account). I have music and fully lit maps and GIFs in game. I spend anywhere between 5-30 hours preparing all sessions. I take pride in complicated/expensive set pieces.

How Fungeon Master creates a safe table

There will be a mix of all three pillars in this oneshot; 40% combat, 30% exploration, social interaction 30%. The overall difficulty of this game is about a "medium" using the DMG combat rating system; this is great for new players despite being APL 1.
