Background: This adventure is set in Faerun, far past the Spine of the World and the cities of Icewind Dale. In Icewind Dale, adventure is a dish best served cold. Beneath the unyielding night sky, you stand before a towering glacier and recite an ancient rhyme, causing a crack to form in the great wall of ice. Beyond this yawning fissure, the Caves of Hunger await. And past this icy dungeon is a secret so old and terrifying that few dare speak of it. The mad wizards of the Arcane Brotherhood long to possess that which the god of winter’s wrath has so coldly preserved—as do you! What fantastic secrets and treasures are entombed in the sunless heart of the glacier, and what will their discovery mean for the denizens of Icewind Dale? Can you save Ten-Towns from the Frostmaiden’s everlasting night?
ONESHOT: ONESHOT Background: For 2 Years, the sun has not risen in the North. Darkness and dread plague the land, as the citizens of Ten-Towns try their best to live day-to-day lives. Battered by snow and cold, the Towns do their best to make ends meet with their specialized trades and skills, but a terrible warning has brought the Towns to a still. The Sunblight clan has bided its time long enough, and their time to conquer the North has finally come. With the disappearance of the sun, the Duergar clan can finally destroy Ten-Towns and all their inhabitants, and claim rule over the Northern surface. A group of heroic Adventurers have been summoned by the Town speakers to stop the Sunblight's destructive plans from occurring. Our heroes must face the northern cold, frigid climate, and battle against the powerful Sunblight clan in order to save the North from certain destruction.
