About the adventure
An open ended homebrewed and reskinned 5e setting, inspired by works of Sci-Fi/Fantasy such as Dune, Krull, and early Star-Wars. This game is for anyone who wants a break from standard Medieval Fantasy and enjoys stories with grand cosmic themes. Set on the desert world of Ava'kyr, the game will take the players from Psionic Monasteries, to conflict ridden City-States, and out into the sands, where a mysterious form of crystals grow from beneath the dunes and radically shape the environment. Religion, Politics, Illicit Affairs, and Cosmic Powers await adventurers amongst the shifting sands of this alien world.

I've been playing 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons since its release, with 5 years of experience as a Dungeon Master in both module and homebrew settings. Creating your character
The characters will start at 3rd level to ensure everyone has the entry level flavor for their character. They will be created at a session 0, to avoid overlapping character concepts and to establish ground rules and expectations. Players can have their own private sheets in any format they like, so long as it's digitally sharable.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a webcam and mic, and a baseline familiarity of the 5e system. A Roll20 and a Discord account will also be necessary. They are welcome to bring their own dice or use the provided online roller.
What Cam brings to the table
I will prepare a digital map, and bring visual prompts appropriate for the setting to the session 0 for character creation. I will also supply source books in PDF form if players don't have access to them.
