About the adventure
You find yourself in the town of Jigow, host of the well known Festival of Merit, a day of competition and celebration. Testing your skills against others, Your party will soon find themselves alongside a fellow group of adventurers, a mystery time forgot, and an underwater realm that hides within, a threat against the world as you know it. Will you save the long lost hero? Or end up another victim of the Red Moon? Hello, In this adventure we will be playing through the newest 5e module Call of the Netherdeep. Taking on a grand adventure along with an NPC rival group whose story can change depending on your choices. Looking to run a game with a good mix of role playing and combat, with a group interested in getting into character and having a chill time.

About me
Hello, I have been running paid games for a few years now, but my experience with D&D is over a decade old and I am eager to help create fun experiences and memories for everyone involved. My style of play is usually a little more relaxed, unless we are playing a survival themed game or something of the sort, you won't see me expecting people to keep track of arrows or rations. I'll always make clear what I expect and, more importantly, give you the opportunity to note what you expect from me. As for more general stuff, I am newbie and LGBTQ+ friendly, I run mainly official modules, but I am looking to branch out and maybe even eventually run games in my own created setting, and I enjoy goofy voices, so expect at least one or two per adventure.

Creating your character
We will have a session zero where the characters shall be set up. You are free to work on your character ahead of time of course, but they will be officially made then.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a Roll20 account, a decent mic, and Discord for voice chat. I would also recommend at least access to the Player's Handbook, but it is not required.
What Dr_Novella brings to the table
I bring the module itself, including maps and tokens, my catalog of resource books for character creation on Roll20, music for ambience, and of course, a desire to run a fun game for you all!

How Dr_Novella creates a safe table
As I run games for adults, the possibility of running into content that people are uncomfortable with is always a possibility. As such players are always allowed to let me know of potential triggers so I know to avoid them. Either publicly or privately if preferred. Call of the Netherdeep, like many module Campaigns, contains fantasy violence, including blood, gore, some body horror, and of course, death. The Module also contains topics such as depression and loneliness.
