The great magmahold of Ryftmar stands upon the precipice of disaster, ravaged by centuries of war and battered by the acidic tides of the Vitriol Sea. With every passing day, it seems closer to collapsing into the hungry waves. Sensing blood in the water, a great danger lurks ready to accelerate Ryftmar’s doom for their own ends. The wrathful Fyreslayers, staunch warrior-sons of Grimnir, will not allow their flame to be quenched so easily. But who will rise to help them? --- Fury in the Deep is an introduction to Soulbound, the TTRPG inspired by the latest setting in the famous Warhammer Universe: Age of Sigmar. A game of powerful heroes whose destinies are intertwined with the schemes of the Gods. Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound is the first ever tabletop roleplaying game set in the Warhammer Age of Sigmar universe, one of the most exciting fantasy settings ever created. Soulbound lets players explore and roleplay in the Mortal Realms — eight unique realms comprising a world of high fantasy, magitech, steampunk, and post-apocalyptic horror. The Mortal Realms are filled with gods and monsters, daemons and demigods, and regular people trying desperately to survive in an endlessly cruel world. Soulbound is a rather easy game to play in terms of rules and mechanics and is very rewarding for those who cherish teamwork. It uses a D6 system that draws inspiration from the miniature wargame. In this introduction you will have the opportunity to investigate, fight, convince, intimidate, make profit or be a selfless hero! Character creation : For Character creation, you will have the opportunity to pick from one of 30+ unique Archetypes. Players can choose from mighty Stormcast Eternals, furious Duardin, strange and unknowable Idoneth Deepkin, and many more... Your choices are your own, I will merely offer suggestions if party balance is important to you. Worry not if you are not familiar with the setting, as I will guide you through it if you want to fully customize your character, or hand over a ready to play PC. Tone : The players work together with the Game Master to establish the tone and style of the game by making judgment calls about the mechanics, dice, and consequences of actions. Each player strives to bring their character to life as an interesting, colorful, character. There are no bad questions, never hesitate to ask about the rules, the story, the world. The GM prepares the canvas, colors and brushes, but in the end, we paint together.

Creating your character
There will be a session 0 on first date that the campaign has three or more players, to introduce the setting and the rules, build the characters and get expectations. Those that join after, I will schedule and hour to help you build and ready a character to jump into the game. Or if they so wish I can provide them with a pre generated character to dive right in.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
All you need really is a mic and headset (to avoid echo). Discord installed and preferably Google Chrome as a web browser to enjoy Foundry VTT as best as it can be. And tones of hype and imagination !
What GM Valrik brings to the table
I shall provide a story, and a world to explore. A fun attitude and excitement for the players to have a good time. Core rules will be available at all time within the virtual table top.

How GM Valrik creates a safe table
Age of Sigmar Soulbound allows to explore many tones and themes. From High Heroic Fantasy to Horror, Grim and Perilous. If there are particular themes you are not comfortable with, feel safe to notifty me before we play and I will adjust the story accordingly. Note: racism, sexism, homophobia and, well, any "Out of character" expression of intolerance are explicitly prohibited from my games.
