About the adventure
**Note, this is a Temple of Elemental Evil campaign that has continued on. It is now a heavily modified Vecna: Eve of Ruin campaign.** The god of secrets has begun his final ritual. Worlds will fall. Who will rise? Step into a desperate race across the multiverse to stop Vecna—the ascended god of secrets—as he unravels reality to reshape it in his own image. From war-torn Eberron to the scorched battlefields of Avernus, you’ll chase lost relics, confront legendary foes, and uncover forbidden truths that could save existence… or doom it. This cinematic D&D 5e 2024 campaign offers epic stakes, layered characters, and unforgettable set pieces. Perfect for players who crave drama, cosmic intrigue, and the thrill of making impossible choices.

About me
**FLEXIBLE BOOKINGS AVAILABLE, CONTACT ME FOR SCHEDULING** Greetings! I've been playing TTRPGs for over 30 years and I love bringing new players into our hobby. I've been running D&D 5e campaigns both in-person and online for about 6 years, with a good mix of veteran and brand new players. I will work with you on your character and backstory and thread it into my campaign. Over the course of the campaign, we'll work together to develop your character's personal arc within the boundaries of the game world. You can look forward to a persistent game world where the NPCs continue their lives when you are not around and your choices and decisions affect the world around you. Before session 0, you'll be provided with the primer and social contract, as well as a "Player Survey" which will ask you about your playstyle preferences so I can get the proper mix of the three pillars (combat, exploration, social interaction) for the party. I have several campaign packages available for scheduling: Private Party Campaign: Do you have a group of friends that love to play, but no one has the time to organize and run a campaign? Book me and I will run a WOTC published campaign for you, start to finish. One shots are also available. For Intermediate to Experienced Players. Learn to Play Campaign: Are you and/or your friends interested in learning how to play D&D, but don’t know where to start? In Learn to Play, I will walk you through all aspects of the game from Session 0 and character creation to game mechanics and roleplaying. I will help you make decisions, understand your character, and how to interact with the game world. We will play through one of the two Dungeons and Dragons starter campaigns: Lost Mines of Phandelver, if we have a group of 4 or more players or Dragon of Icespire Peak for 3 or less players. For Beginner Players. Junior Adventurers: Do you have potential adventurers on the younger side that want to play D&D but you don’t know where to get them into a game that would be appropriate for them? With either Learn to Play or Private Party, I will run a family friendly game appropriate for kids ages 10+ and their friends or parents/family members. Any Experience Level. Each campaign will be accompanied by a one-page primer with a summary of the game world, character creation rules, any class or race restrictions, and connected character backgrounds. A separate one page social contract will also be provided detailing lines and veils, unacceptable behaviors, and player and DM expectations. Most of my campaigns will contain mature language and themes, however I am flexible and can accommodate much younger players (one of my favorite games is with my 8 year old nephew whom I taught to play). I use Foundry VTT with Discord for Audio/Video and in and out of character chats and notes, and DNDBeyond for all character creation. I currently own all content available in DNDBeyond and I am open to 3rd party publisher content on a by-campaign basis. Requirements: internet connected device and microphone, camera preferred but not required, DNDBeyond account (free), Discord account (free).

Creating your character
Characters will be created in a session 0, starting at level 1. Stats will be 4d6 drop the lowest, reroll 1s once. Rolls can be done player's choice, using virtual tabletop dice, discord dice, DNDBeyond dice, or physical dice with a webcam enabled. All rolls will be witnessed by the DM. Party members should interact with each other on character creation to find common ground to establish a reason for being together.
This is a continuation of a Temple of Elemental Evil campaign. Sessions occur on Thursdays, 5 pm to 8:30 pm PST. Session 0 for joining players will be on Discord based on player availability (session 0 is free). The party is currently level 13 and this campaign will go to level 20.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Mic required, webcam preferred. You'll be provided with a one-page adventure primer, a social contract and a player survey. A discord and DNDBeyond account (both free) are required. For new players, I will provide a basic rules breakdown and cheat sheet. Please come with a couple of character concepts in mind in case everyone has the same class in mind. A party full of rogues may seem fun, but also may be difficult for you to run.
What DM Geof brings to the table
I will supply all digital materials (books, maps). Artwork for encounters and locations will be posted in discord following sessions and each player will have access to a private chat channel with me to discuss character development, triggers, or private notes.
