About the adventure
A call has gone out for adventurers from the small hillside town of Thien! Treasure and coin are offered in exchange for finding lost villagers and cattle. Level 5 heroes are summoned to the Howling Hog pub at sundown on Midsummer night. This was the first one shot I ever DMed. It has a special place in my cold DM heart. Come find out what happened to the village of Thien and what's behind all that howling! This game is beginner friendly. I am available to work with you to build your character if needed.

How to prepare
Players will need: A working microphone Discord Fantasy grounds Unity - a free account is fine Your character concept if you're building one should be clear. I can make a character quickly enough.
What I provide
I will provide the story, you provide the characters. Fantasy Grounds Unity has dice and is free as a player. Books I bring to the table: Players Handbook DMG Monster Manual Volo's Guide to Monsters Tasha's Cauldron of Everything Xanathar's Guide to Everything Explorer's Guide to Wildemount Dungeon of the Mad Mage Wild Beyond the Witchlight
Gameplay details
There will be mild horror. Before the adventure begins, we will discuss lines, veils, stars and wishes. During game, X, N and O cards will be used and anyone who needs to step away may do so without any explanation.

How will character creation work
I'm fairly flexible with how you want to make your character. (On paper, dndbeyond or fantasy grounds). For stats, it's up to you (roll, point buy or standard array). I just ask for honesty if you roll. Level 5 characters, all official content accepted. (If you'll be creating your character on fantasy grounds, you'll be limited to PHB, TCOE, XGE, EGW) Character creation should happen before we start playing. I will open up fantasy grounds and discord 1 hour before game time for anyone who would like to build their character within Fantasy Grounds.
