Neverwinter Adventurers: An Introduction to Dungeons and Dragons (New Players encouraged)

Neverwinter Adventurers: An Introduction to Dungeons and Dragons (New Players encouraged)

Dungeons & Dragons 5e | Campaign

About the adventure

Welcome to the City of Neverwinter! The starting place of hundreds of adventures and Adventurers. Starting at level 1 your character will begin their journey as we launch the campaign... But First Session Zero (Always Free) Session Zero is an initial chance to get together, allows us to present the outline of campaign as a whole, set the expectations for the upcoming sessions. We will also spend a moment addressing types of play, establish comfort levels and go over "What is playing a Table Top Role Playing Game (TTRPG) online going to be like." We will then approach the process of Character creation. Having an idea of what you wish to play will help but is not required. We have options for standard character creation and if the consensus is there, we even have pre-made characters. Once that is settled, We begin as our characters assemble after selecting a certain posting from the Community Boards found around the city of Neverwinter.

Party notes

An introductory campaign beginning at levels 1 - 6-7. I use both Lost Mine of Phandelver and Dragon of Ice Spire Peak to provide my players with a dynamic adventure.

What I provide

Why pay for a game? Allow me to offer you the benefits of a paid game: - A Paid DM is, and should be, financially obligated to show up and give their best. - The Players are equally financially obligated to show up and not let their money go to waste. - Taking payment allows me to work on the sessions full time, this ensures all the required preparation is done and contact is possible. Separate Discord servers will be used per campaign to ensure the ability to reach out between sessions - Material costs are covered by your payment. Buying resources to use in games is covered by the DM and access to all of my Roll20's and DnDBeyond content is available to my players via Compendium Sharing.

Gameplay details

Your adventure starts here. Being adventurers, this means that your characters have at this point, selected their chosen classes and have the prerequisite gear to be able to accept a task and working together with other individuals, come together and achieve your current goals. (All of this, to include Q&A, will be covered in Session Zero.) We use the X card and lines and veils to manage any content that may come across as questionable. As your GM, I will not put your characters in positions that would cross these lines without fully vetting any of the related topics prior to a scene where this content may exist.

How will character creation work

Session Zero is where we initially get together and do the introductory meet and greet. Once the administrative tasks are out of the way, it's down to Character Creation time. Starting with Stats. We will use the standard Points Array using the Standard Array (15,14,13,12,10 and 8) All of this will be covered and explained in Session Zero. We will discuss if you have an idea of what your character is and what they will do, and work out the details. Character sheets will then be assigned and your initial handout will be distributed.
