Meet the Game Master
About me
I’m that guy who really wanted to play D&D with his friends and the only way to do that was to take on the role of Dungeon Master, bribe everyone over with pizza and force them to sit down and roll characters. That first game was riddled with problems ranging from glaring plot holes and large misunderstandings of the rules and mechanics. I look back at my first game with fondness because although I may not have understood the rules it led to many fun memories with friends. That first game instilled in me a love of D&D that continues to this day. I’ve come a long way since then, running many campaigns and adventures, even offering to run paid games in the middle of 2020. To be honest, I’ve had the best game experiences since then, and I’ve met the best players in that time, and I’m now looking to expand my table and run even more games! As far as my “style” goes I would categorize myself as a “by the book” DM. I run my games RAW (rules as written) but I do love those cool epic moments that comes along with the game and I try to make each session as episodic and fun filled as possible. I offer all first time players in my tables their first session for free. I believe the best way to see if I’m the right DM for you is if you experience a session yourself. I’m also very transparent and open on how I like my players to behave. The biggest rule in all my tables is respecting your fellow players. No hate speech, antagonistic behavior, abusive language, or bullies are allowed to participate in my games.

How Eric D creates a safe table
This is an adventure set in a high seas environment setting filled with danger, mysteries, and treasures. While players can expect a fair amount of violence and gore this does not give you free reign to play a Chaotic Evil character and derail the fun for everyone else. As a player you are expected to work with and contribute to the group. This means your character must be willing to work as part of the group regardless of backstory. Comfort and autonomy takes preference and if either of those are disturbed by a particular player they can expect consequences in the form of but not limited to verbal warnings and being kicked out of the group.
