About the adventure
Hi there folks! My name is Misha and I'm running a homebrew edit of Candlekeep Mysteries, for 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons. We already have a handful of players, just looking to fill the roster! We play using Roll20 for rolls and character sheets, and discord for voice chat during the game. (Microphone required) Make sure you have an account for both, and are at least a little familiar with how to use them! Sessions are 4 hours long, starting at 7am Pacific Time on Saturdays.

I've played with Misha before on Roll20 with a campaign that lasted for about a year and a half. We played a variety of different modules in the same sort of plot line (Waterdeep Dragon Heist and Dungeon of the mad mage being the main modules we've played with a couple of homebrew stuff and small sidequests in between). Overall they are a fantastic DM, they are able to improvise and roll with the player's punches well both rp and in battles. One example would be when running through the dungeon of the mad mage, a goblin suddenly materialized as we teleported through a portal. Although intended to be annoying and hostile to everyone else apart from the person that teleported we decided to keep them and was named Jenny which then she became an essential part of the party in delivering the much needed sass. The battles are awesome in that they describe the scene really well, I still think about the time creepy metal warping clowns phased through the walls to make our characters retire from life. While there was points of the feeling of just trudging through points in the campaign (Although this is the fault of some parts of The Dungeon of the Mad Mage.). Overall would recommend 10/10. Misha is a fantastic DM, they give everyone as equal a share of the spotlight as they can. They have wonderful attention to detail, and provide great characterization for NPCs. Misha is very professional and runs their game on a very consistent schedule. Their homebrew content is lively, colorful, and diverse. Their deep knowledge of established settings allows for both lore friendly and more flexible play depending on what you prefer. I've played with them in several games across several systems and I can safely say they are the best DM/GM/Storyteller I've ever had!
I've been a player in many of Misha's games, they are very enthusiastic about the games they run. I enjoy how much they try to give each player time to shine and share about who their character is/what they are doing. They keep the group on pace, finding good spots to end, and balancing each session to have a nice blend of roleplay, combat, and other events. It's also fun to hear the voices they will make for the different characters under their control.
