About the adventure

On the vast continent of Wildemount, a delicate balance has been struck between powerful factions. Will you shift this balance of power, or try to maintain it? Will you shun the conflict rising between nations, or attempt to bend it to your will? This will be an open-world, character-driven, RP-heavy campaign. Player choices and character actions will have long-lasting effects on the world and story. What to expect from this game: Safety tools (lines and veils, x cards) "yes and" GM style (rule of cool is the law of the land) Premium VTT (source books, professional maps, etc) First time players welcome, no prior knowledge of the setting necessary.

How to prepare

You will need a computer, headphones, and a microphone (fine if it’s an integrated mic in your computer or headphones). We will be using dndbeyond for character sheets, Roll20 for the tabletop, and the browser extension beyond20 for rolling integration. If this causes technical limitations for any player, we can modify this setup. There will be a (free) session 0 before the start of the campaign for character creation, setting of lines and veils, and technical setup. If you’d like a run-through of D&D5e rules or some of the history of the setting, I’m happy to provide that as well.

What I provide

I will be providing the custom adventure, all sourcebooks in dndbeyond, paid roll20 features, a discord server for voice chat, and safety tools.

Gameplay details

This game will contain themes of war, oppression, religious and socioeconomic discrimination, and various monstrous creatures. We will be using the following safety tools: lines and veils, x-cards. Players can expect “yes and” style gameplay with a highly reactive world.

How will character creation work

We will be using dndbeyond for character sheets and will develop our characters together during a (free) session 0 and offline discussion. We use a custom stat rolling rule that allows for more interesting stats with balanced power through the party.
