About the adventure

This game has been discounted from my usual $25 price. Why you ask? Well I need your help. I started with StartPlaying back when it was in beta. When pandemic hit StartPlaying asked me to help run custom games and special events. When pandemic restrictions were lifted I went back to playing in person games and left StartPlaying for a while. I am back but I need your help to help my to raise my hosted game count and add more reviews to my profile. I hope you can help me and we can have an amazing time telling this story together. You are a part of a secret order tasked to protect the land from arcane magic users who abuse their power. Your character's selfish goals unfold and intertwine with others as you and your fellow members make your way from floor to floor facing magical creatures and unlocking a magical puzzle. All this to save something important from being destroyed as the tower crumbles around you. About me

My name is Erick. I have played Tabletop RPGS for 30 years now. If you ever told me that I could get paid to play TTRPGs I would have thought you were joking. But here I am today. The CEO of StartPlaying asked me join StartPlaying during beta just before the pandemic. When the pandemic lifted I went back to running in-person games at game rooms where I live. I now back on StartPlaying to open up to online games again. I have run games for events, conventions and Adventure League helping people learn and understand TTRPGs for the first time. And for the advanced players, I have offered challenging and intriguing memorable stories. I have traveled the world as a travel photographer connecting with people and telling their stories. Now it is time to create our own stories together. Let us sit down with a group of friends, roll some dice and tell a story together.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Make sure you have a computer with the latest up to date browser from Chrome, Firefox or Edge. Safari unfortunately does not work with Foundry VTT. Make sure your browser has WebGL enabled. A good headphones and microphone is required. A webcam is highly suggested but not required. Foundry does tend to be a video RAM and/or RAM resource hog. For this make sure that you have a integrated GPU to enable hardware acceleration and 8gb of RAM. Must have a display that is no smaller than 1366x768. Most modern computes can do this with maybe an exception of Chromebooks.

What Erick brings to the table

Upon confirmation I will provide the link to the website online where we will be using Foundry Virtual Table Top to play the game. The game will have the choice of characters with their character sheets already set up.

Safety

How Erick creates a safe table

This game is designed to pick up a character sheet and just start playing. Little or no planning for the players. It is designed for beginners and experienced players. There is a mix of a good amount of combat and role playing. The story unfolds as each characters interact with the world and each other.
