Tyranny of Dragon Heist

About the adventure

I've always thought the biggest issue with the Tyranny of Dragons set was the Hoard of the Dragon Queen module, especially Greenest. So I've decided to replace the module entirely with Waterdeep: Dragon Heist. There are some minor tweaks of course but I believe it makes for a much better experience.

How to prepare

You will need a mic but a webcam is not required, I will be providing digital sheets and while I'd prefer Tabletop Simulator I can do theater of the mind or even share my screen on discord if needed.

What I provide

Since this is a digital game most of the stuff we'd need is free online but I can commission my wife to make art of the party if you guys want!

Gameplay details

I do have a pretty comprehensive lines and veils sheet I will be making available (of course if there's anything missing please let me know). During session 0 we'll be discussing what you hope to see in the game, themes you'd like to explore, and things to avoid. After the game is over I would like to discuss the content of the session, especially where I can improve as a DM. My X,N,Os can be something to message me that way you have a bit of anonymity if you would like it though we can talk about other methods in session 0 as well.

How will character creation work

I would like to do character creation as part of my Session 0 if possible but if we run out of time I do want you to make one on your own but I will provide digital sheets. For this game you will start at level 1 and I do allow some homebrew/unofficial content (talk to me first, I even have some of my own stuff if you'd like to help me playtest it!)

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
