About the adventure
Waves crash against the side of your vessel, stormy waters are nothing new to an experienced adventurer such as you. However, there seems to be something lurking under the choppy sea. Abruptly, as if someone flipped a switch, you find yourself in the eye of the storm. Thick storm walls surround you, but the waters have mellowed. From the depths of the water erupts several large tentacles, spraying water in all directions. Frantically, the crew mans their battle stations. "KRAKEN!" Yells the captain. This is a one-shot encounter, designed for individuals with a basic understanding of D&D 5e mechanics. This encounter is for 2-5 player characters of the 17th level. Players will be required to build their character prior to the game session utilizing either d&d beyond, or dungeonmastersvault.com (each player is to have basic starting equipment and will be able to select from a list of magical items the Dungeon Master provides at the beginning of the session). In addition to the Player Characters (PC's), there will be additional crew members (NPC's) on the vessel to provide support.
