About me
Hey there :) I'm Jhonny (Any Pronouns), and I'm a Professional Dungeon Master running D&D5E as well as many other TTRPGs both Online and In-Person for those in the PDX area! I've volunteered at Guardian Games, Gamestorm, Kumoricon, and Rose City Comic Con running everything from Adventurer's League to Homebrewed One-Shots. I love getting players old and new into fun and strange adventures. Picking up new game systems all the time, and am always looking for my next quest! I've got flexible hours, and I'm always happy to run a free Session Zero to help with character creation, game overview, or just chat if you're looking to run it yourself. I love TTRPGs because no matter who you are, you can just roll the dice and have some fun. Oh and fighting monsters too.
GM Style
My introduction to TTRPGs was the D&D show "Force Grey: Giant Hunters" that ran on Nerdist's YouTube channel. From there I started going down a rabbit hole of podcasts including The Adventure Zone, Critical Role, Aquisitions Inc, and many others. I enjoy striking the balance of roleplaying and combat, but am always adapting to what my players desire more. I love doing voices (some are better than others), and am always mindful of player agency, which includes above all, consent. I've run 3 D&D5E campaigns, two of which are still active, and have designed One-Shots for conventions, parties, and online play that ranged from a Guardians of the Galaxy-inspired Spelljammer game to a Battle Royale themed after Ariana Grande (I'm dead serious. A friend asked me to do it for their birthday, and it was a blast). Essentially, there's nothing too weird for me to run so long as it's the type of game you'll get the most fun out of.
