Hi and Welcome New to D&D 5e or just want to try something different in the adventure land? I first played AD&D 30+ years ago and recently returned as both a player and DM after far too long. I’ll be honest with you. As I am coming back to DMing I am learning. I may not be perfect, I will make mistakes. Hopefully this creates a no-pressure learning environment. I try to work from a players’ point of view. My adventures are about engaging you in the story. So you can make informed decisions, work out the consequences, enjoy the lore, figure out the NPCs and kill monsters. Happy for people to roleplay or just describe what they do. I am not keen on Rollplay. Dice are fun but too many dice are not. Looking for serious heroes to conquer my worlds. I hope to create a safe environment for all players. Everyone is welcome. If I sound like the kind of DM you are looking for, reach out to me and let's discuss things further. Ideally I want to run games for newer players as I dive deeper into finding my style of game.

GM style

I use a healthy mix of role-play and challenging combat. I use maps (displayed in roll20) as visual aids, during exploration and for combat as well. What excites me is seeing players absorbed and engaged in the story. I am not keen on ROLL-play. Dice are fun but too many rolls are not fun. I encourage my players get immersed in the game but you don’t have to be an actor or even roleplay if you don’t want. Most games have a mix of people acting the part or describing what their character does as well as players who imagine the situation and state their actions simply. Both work and are great fun.
