Welcome to Sig
Sig: The Manual of the Primes on Zoom, Roll20
About the adventure
There is a place where all the infinite worlds and dimensions and existences meet. An impossible city twisted through all of creation, where belief is truth and conviction is power. You are one of the denizens of Sig, who vary as much as the infinite planes they originate from. Your beliefs, loyalties and faith will shape the story and, indeed, the world around you. Are you of planar heritage, a Polari Bonesmith with the Sage Collegium who secretly worships the Eater Of Worlds? Perhaps you are of primal stock, from a bipedal insectlike race, and channel your devotion to Kestranna, The Harvester, into your work tending the rooftop farms of Sig's Farmers' Association? Or maybe you are of stranger origin, born from the loving union of the space between the stars and the concept of hesitation, and driven by the influence of an unnamed trickster power to a life of crime? No matter who and what you are, the beliefs your character holds dear will power the story we tell together. These beliefs will change and grow over time, developing along with your character. And in turn they will shape existence around you, adding your story to the great tapestry that is Sig: The City Between.
How to prepare
You will need access to Zoom and a Roll20 account. In both cases the free accounts are perfectly adequate. You will need a webcam and microphone.
What I provide
I will provide all necessary (virtual) game materials. You will receive a PDF copy of the full game, to refer to during play and to use for future games of your own, if you like.
In a game of Sig, scenes are framed collaboratively. As a player you will have a lot of narrative control, and a lot of influence over the outcome of events. Expect lots of character growth, and lots of development of the relationships between characters (PC-NPC as well as PC-PC). I believe strongly that the well-being of each player involved is more important than the game itself. In an infinite 'verse, the range of possible story topics and themes is unbounded, so we will use Lines and Veils to establish guidelines before the game begins, and tools such as the X, O and N cards to calibrate them during play. My table has zero tolerance for consent violations.

How will character creation work
Characters will be created during our Session Zero, as well as some setting creation. Familiarity with the rules of the game is not particularly necessary to create your character -- imagination is much more important.
