The Nightmare of Strahd: A Campaign of the Mists
Dungeons & Dragons 5e on Roll20, Zoom
About the adventure
Tethered to the ancient unknowable beings called the Dark Powers, Count Strahd Von Zarovich has lorded over the lands of Barovia for centuries. Finding neither succor nor solace over the years Strahd has been forced to content himself with his dark games that he plays with unfortunate adventurers as he waits for his long lost love Tatyana to be reincarnated into the land of the living. But recently, something else has broken the monotony of Strahd's existence; something as unexpected as it was unwarranted. Whereas Barovia had once been a long isolated demi-plane adrift in the multiverse, Strahd now finds himself beset on all sides by extra planar adversaries from every walk of life. As involuntary immigrants thrust into the most tumultuous period in the history of Barovia, you must ask yourself only one question... ...how will you survive the Dark Times?
How to prepare
Having your own dice (or at least a dice roller) is a must for the game. As for character sheets, I will be sending copies to players to fill out either for physical copies or potentially as digit copies. I will be getting character specifics from you at session zero as well.
What I provide
We will be hosting this campaign on my Zoom and roll 20 account, and I will bring the corresponding maps and lore.
The Land of Barovia has become host to a myriad of different, aliens beings, few of which are friendly. You and your allies will have to navigate a bizarre landscape full of strange creatures. Can you do so with your wits and cunning, by talking and tricking your way past foes? Or will you be forced to rely on the blade? *Note: The Nightmare of Strahd campaign mostly utilizes theatre of the mind, but will have battle maps via roll20 as needed.

How will character creation work
For those of you that haven't completed the preview one-shot, I will be hosting a session 0 at the beginning to help players acclimate to the setting, as well as construct characters and decide on house rules.
