About the adventure

The Core Worlds have run out of resources; Years of corporate exploitation have caused people to consume and reproduce at an unsustainable rate. Faced with little other choice, the government begins a propaganda-fueled program to send it's youth into space to colonize new worlds- Or die trying. Strap in for a role-play centered Oddesy through space; Join the savior generation, board your spacecraft, and don't look back. Because it's wild out there in space. The Infinity Door is a game for people who love sci-fi novels and media like Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy, Treasure Planet, and Firefly, and enjoy exploring themes of corporate abuse of nature and the exploitation of youth in a dark future. It's LGBTQ+ inclusive, and has no place for gatekeepers, misogynists, or transphobia.

How to prepare

Have a decent mic and a quiet space, a single set of RPG dice, a pencil, a small piece of paper, and some pennies or small tokens, and an attitude for adventure!

I'll be talking people through character creation and provide drawn posted handouts of important objects Character Art too, if I have time.

Gameplay details

Content Warnings: This game explores concepts of corporate exploitation of the world and of children, horror elements, and abandonment I will ask at the beginning of the first session and if any new players arrive for their triggers or hard lines of content that aren't explicitly stated above, and I will not bring them up A normal session consists of collaborative story telling as the players explore the far reaches of uncharted space, grappling with their collective pasts, external threats, and each other. As they travel, a mystery unfolds; a mystery that throws the players into the middle of a quiet war that, should the wrong side win, could spell doom not just for the few caught in it, but the universe itself. DISCLAIMER I will try my hardest to make this a safe and fun experience for all. If I do or say something that makes you uncomfortable, it is up to you to let me know or leave the group. I do not claim responsibility for any trauma unless I was actively aware I was doing it, so PLEASE let me know if anything I do pushes you too far, and if you feel the need to leave the group, Please do not feel pressured to stay. your safety is my priority.

How will character creation work

Over discord, I'll create a server and screen share as I walk through making a character using a pencil, some paper, and a standard set of RPG dice, and post a shared doc for the shared spaceship, so that the players can track it's stats online, with access for everyone.
