How to prepare

As this is a text-based letter-writing (play-by-post) TTRPG, you will need only an active discord subscription. You can choose to be as active as you would like, with prompts available daily, every other day, weekly - whichever you prefer.

What I provide

I will provide a PDF of the game accessible during play, as well as your daily prompts, guidance, and all of the structure (and aftercare) necessary to enjoy Thousand Year Old Vampire in a group setting.

Gameplay details

Gameplay occurs entirely on Discord. Each (active) day, players will privately be given a prompt to write a letter which will be sent to the rest of the coven in a general chat. Play proceeds until the last vampire has reached the end of their story. 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 This game takes twists and turns into some very dark territory. As such, our Lines and Veils document will be visible to all. If something is triggering to a specific player, then a letter will be spoiler-marked with a note as to whom should avoid it for safety reasons. As described in the source text: "While playing this game, you will encounter themes of death, selfishness and predation. Your character may be injured, victimized, trapped or killed. Your character will murder and victimize people of all sorts, possibly including loved ones, children, animals, marginalized people, or themselves. You might find yourself exploring themes of imperialism, colonialism, or oppression. Characters might engage in self-harm or drug abuse. Illness, debilitation, and body horror may come into play. Your character might have their memories altered, and they will certainly forget important things. Some of this will emerge from Prompts, and some will emerge from the choices you make as a player. How will character creation work

Character creation will occur privately prior to your first prompt. I will assist in guiding you through the process of creating a character and getting their resources in place, as well as in setting up your private servers within the channel.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
