About the adventure

For those that would like a free sample of the upcoming Nightmare of Strahd campaign I am hosting a one shot for those interested in exploring the dark realm of Barovia! The test session is for up to 6 level 1 players using pre-generated characters from the D&D website, and should run between 2 & 3 hours. Those that enjoy the game will be front-runners to participate in the long-form campaign starting the following week

How to prepare

Since I will be running a game via zoom, having at least a built in microphone in your laptop or PC should do it, though a mic and headphones couldn't hurt. Cameras will be used on my end but I am more than understanding if you want to forego that.

What I provide

I will be hosting the one shot on my zoom account and occasionally using maps on my roll 20 account. While a pre-existing zoom account isn't required, a roll20 account could be useful.

Gameplay details

Players should expect plenty of theatre of the mind style storytelling interspersed with gothic horror and storytelling.

How will character creation work

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
