About the adventure

Fading Suns presents a science-fiction setting that tells an age-old mythic story: the life and trials of a culture hero — or better yet, heroes. Humanity has spread among the stars, but the future seems dark. The suns that once shone brightly are beginning to fade... But fear not! A new Emperor has arisen that promises to bring the light back into the Known Worlds... One such way he does this is by Patroning "Troupes", adventuring parties that functioning like drama groups. They don't just help those who need it, but they make drama of it! Making sure their actions create great stories that will embolden humanity's faith and restore it past glory! Now the troupes head to the Lands of Yngmar, a feudal-like society that is struggling with some strange Evil. For months, the Yngmark realm has suffered monster sightings and attacks, and the local lord has called in every favor to enlist imperial help. The troupe, beholden, sworn to the new emperor, arrives in the wilderness realm to troubleshoot the crisis on their patrons’ behalf.

How to prepare

Players need a mic, webcam is useful. No need to read rules ahead of time, but I will offer characters sheets a few days before so they can get acquainted with the system.

What I provide

The game will be played on foundry VTT where I will set up scenes and battlemaps.

Gameplay details

The game contains horror and some level of body horror. Players may encounter some bigotry amongst the locals and the conflict of recent conquest. This includes fictional religious bigotry. The game will use the X card to ensure player safety.

How will character creation work

Players will choose from a pool of pre-gen archetypes.
