Learn to GM "A Time of War"

About the adventure

This an intro of a repeat opening of learning how to GM "A Time of War" the Latest RPG from Catalyst games for battletech the tools, tips, and concepts of how to play and how to run. From the simple operations in the system and what is needed for overall game performance and how your style as a GM works with each part of the system and example setups. We will be exploring the following in set of sessions (1.) Character creation & what a GM does to help smooth out the bumps (2.) Intro to game play 2D6 and where we use them (3.) Food for thought in mechanics vs RP (4.) Combat!!! (5.) handling the post - Operations (6.) What you need to be Aware of in the setting and (7.) Lore day let us explore the timeline (8 and up to 10 .) review and build your own setting (11 or later .) Lets see what we learned and rap up with intro and splash examples for these games!!!

How to prepare

Be sure to have computer access to a file organizing system be ready to download a few programs have both tabletop simulator and discord with a mic ready for day one interaction and bring a notetaking capable program, device, or book!!

This will be taking in all themes of Battletech from the safe sides and the not so safe so not recommended for those who are not prepared for harsh environments this is a war game and war is not childs play

How will character creation work

This will be an exploration of a number of topics over different sections in the self contained pdf documents of the battletech books

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
