About the adventure

Welcome to Phandalin! This humble little mining town will become the launching pad that will see your characters rising from unknown goblin fodder to living legends taking on the forces of the gods themselves. Rumors of a dragon sighting have drawn adventurers from far and wide but that’s only the beginning. This is the full deluxe edition of the D&D Essentials Kit. This includes the introductory campaign Dragons of Icespire Peak and continues with the adventure add ons Storm Lord’s Wrath, Sleeping Dragon’s Wake, and Divine Contention taking the heroes from level 1-13. So what do you say? Let’s meet at the inn and take a look at the job board. We’ll make a little gold and maybe prevent the destruction of the material plane along the way.

How to prepare

We will be using Discord for voice so it's important to have a decent mic and a quiet place to play. I like using video but it will remain optional. The VTT we will be using is Roll20. Both a Roll20 and Discord accounts are free to set up. If you use DNDBeyond the Beyond20 browser extension will allow you use the DDB dice roller in Roll20.

What I provide

Other than a true passion for the game I will be bringing all of the official maps and art tokens provided by the official modules specifically for Roll20 including dynamic lighting. I also have spell templates animated status effect tokens, and will make custom character tokens for player provided art work.

How will character creation work

You can come with a fully created character using standard array or point buy or we can work together on your character prior to Session 1. The Discord will be open for character conversations as well. Backstory is fun but in no way mandatory but it will benefit your roleplay if you have a reason to go hunting a dragon.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
