About the adventure
===== PITCH ===== This is an Age of Lost Omens, and Iblydos, land of prophecy and myth, has felt that loss keenly. The art of myth-speaking, which has long been used to determine which amongst the mortals would rise to become a god, is dying. Oracles call upon every last ember of their dwindling power, yet they are found wanting time and time again. With the death of prophecy itself, it shows no sign of ever recovering. With the art of myth-speaking being all but useless, those few mortals that managed to ascend to godhood, these hero-gods, find their numbers diminishing with each day that passes. Once upon a time, all of Iblydos' islands were ruled by these legendary heroes, and the people prospered. Now, many of them are old, far past their prime - and increasingly overwhelmed by the threats against their rule, both within and without. Monsters of all kinds, abominations from beyond the knowledge of mortals, watch eagerly as the land of Iblydos withers away slowly. They lick their chops every time a hero-god dies; and they sharpen their claws each time a mortal gives up on hope. This is an Age of Lost Omens. Will you be able to secure a future for the land, beyond myth and prophecy? ===== DETAILS ===== Iblydos: Fading Gods is a campaign that takes place in the world of Golarion, and specifically in the Iblydos region of it. This is a land inspired by Greek mythology and themes. As this campaign is not a pre-written module, and there is little details about it in official material, I have worked to flesh out the region and its inhabitants. This is in order to provide players with the best experience possible, and a chance to explore such themes in Pathfinder Second Edition!

Gameplay details
During Session 0, I usually go over the content warnings expected for this game, and I make sure my players are not only comfortable with those, but check up if they have anything to add. I also go over the expectations of the players and my expectations as a DM as well. There is a 10 minute break in the middle of the session (usually around two hours after start time). I check up on my players' feelings verbally once the session has ended. I ask if they had fun and encourage them to provide feedback, either in public or in private.

Character creation is done during Session 0. A player may pre-plan their character as much as they would like, but it is heavily recommended that they go through Session 0 before settling on any final details. Characters will start at level 1, and the Free Archetype variant rule is used for this campaign.
