Ghostbusters D6: A New Chapter

About the adventure

You and your friends have jumped through all the hoops, and your finally official Ghostbusters and head of the new local chapter/franchise. You've received all of your gear from HQ in New York and your own portable Special Containment Unit is online. And luckily enough, you've already got your first call! There is an old mansion on the outskirts of town that's slated to be rebuilt/refurbished, but none of the local contractors are willing to go near the place. So, the local municipality is hiring you and your friends to clear the place out so that construction can get started. This will be an exploratory, 'mansion'-crawling One-Shot, using a simplified/streamlined version of West End Games' D6 system. You'll be playing brand new Ghostbusters as they explore an old haunted mansion with your trusty EKG Meter, trying to clear out all of the ghosts and specters using the classic proton-packs and ghost traps! Can you make it through the mansion without having the socks scared off of you?

How to prepare

Only thing players will need to do to prepare is watch any of the Ghostbuster Movies (Classic 80's 1 & 2, as well as the 2016 Reboot), or even the classic animated series, The Real Ghostbusters!

Everything the players will need to play the game will be provided for the players by either myself or by Roll20.net

Gameplay details

I'll be using a modified version of the classic D6 System by West End Games. There'll be plenty of ghostly enemies to capture or disperse, supernatural puzzles to solve, and lots of spooky fun for everyone!

How will character creation work

I'll be using pre-generated characters, so players will just need to choose a character, not having to worry about creating one.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
