About the adventure

Experience an open-world Witcher campaign of your design. In a world of vicious monsters, malevolent monarchs, constant war, and cunning mages, each day you survive is a small miracle. This campaign will focus on the last remaining caravan of refugees arriving in a new region and setting up their new lives. The refugees will be run ragged from their journey and burdened by their trauma. Their professions get you coin, but your wits keep you above ground. There will be monster hunting, masquerade balls, political courts, battlefields, duels, and assassinations. -> What to expect as a player: ☑️ A beginner-friendly and inclusive table. All are welcome! ☑️ A mature and fully realized story that can and will evolve based on your choices. ☑️ A Play-by-Post game that allows for time and schedule flexibility ☑️ A truly open world where the decisions of the party and players matter and will change the course of history within the world. ☑️ Your character will be fleshed out with the help of a dynamic lifepath system to help establish the setting and cast of characters for use in your party and enemies to foil you. ☑️ A focus on impactful narrative encounters using the Witcher TTRP system as a fluid guide, not rigid rules. How to prepare

✅ Once in the Discord server, you will be given a role that will reveal the next steps for your Character setup. ✅ It would be helpful to have purchased a copy of the Witcher ttrpg core book ✅ The understanding that the narrative and story we tell will nearly always trump the mechanics of the system.

What I provide

☑️ A fully moderated Discord Server for use as our game hub. Complete with links to all necessary sites and reference guides. ☑️ A Text-based game room ☑️ A sandbox setting tailor-made for the group that will be expanded upon as we play together. I bring hundreds of hours of player-driven GMing experience to the table and degrees in Creative Writing and game design to facilitate compelling narratives and create unique mechanics for the players.

Gameplay details

--> Play By Post The pacing of this game will play out each week and is subject to the availability of myself and the player. My schedule allows for post-activity in the mornings (pst US) on weekdays and some weekends. Once invited into the discord, we will begin creating a character and cast of characters for our story. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all players, I use the following safety tools: ✅ A consent form all members of the group must complete. This will determine Lines & Veils ✅ Session zero to discuss concerns, boundaries, and themes before the game begins ✅ Open door policy. Contact me any time with questions or concerns ✅ In games of darker themes I enjoy running loose and humorous games when possible. How will character creation work

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
